unfortunately, I didn't see any benchmarks related to Lucene. Ego2 was 
tested a few days ago and the result is here:

Yes, the same query can be passed to egothor as well.

No, this is not supported because egothor is not a replacement for fast 
fulltext modules of RDBMS. In fact, such a feature could be implemented, 
but the solution would not surpass the native modules of RDBMS.
