Interface BindingConnector

Functional Interface:
This is a functional interface and can therefore be used as the assignment target for a lambda expression or method reference.

Host-owned exact-reference connector. It must not perform registry reselection, HA retries or replay application calls. The selected identity and the invocation budget are explicit.

      Object connect(ObjectRef reference, Class<?> contract, ProxyOptions options)
      Connects one concrete identity without invoking a business method.
      Parameters:
      reference - selected exact reference
      contract - required ordinary business interface
      options - remaining invocation budget and safe proxy metadata
      Returns:
      proxy implementing contract
      Throws:
      IllegalStateException - if exact-reference connection is unsupported

    • probe

      default boolean probe(ObjectRef reference, Class<?> contract, ProxyOptions options)
      Performs an optional read-only exact-identity reachability check. Implementations must honor the supplied budget and must not call business methods or application lifecycle hooks. Unsupported transports return false; discovery alone never proves recovery.
      Parameters:
      reference - quarantined identity
      contract - required interface
      options - bounded probe budget
      Returns:
      true only after a positive read-only proof
