Class ManagedExecutionBackend

java.lang.Object
org.j7m.middleware.application.distributed.ManagedExecutionBackend

public final class ManagedExecutionBackend extends Object
Trusted scope-bound execution source separating dynamic discovery from pinned live claims. Every new claim opens a session at the current authoritative group/epoch. That session never retargets after MOVED/FROZEN, including a later handoff back to the original physical group. Borrowed endpoints and topology are not closed by this adapter.

    Description
    org.j7m.middleware.distributed.ExecutionClient
Returns a dynamic scope client for submission, listing and explicit administration only.
    org.j7m.middleware.distributed.ExecutionEvents
Returns lazy paged discovery over the dynamic authoritative source, never claim authority.
group(String partition, String scope, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionEndpoint endpoint)
Borrows one fixed physical group; new sessions read its current committed ownership epoch.
    open(Instant deadline)
Opens fresh ownership before a new claim; does not itself acquire a job or saga lease.
    partition(String partition, String scope, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionAdminClient topology, Map<String, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionEndpoint> groups)
Resolves authoritative topology only for a new claim or dynamic discovery operation.
Omits scope, endpoint inventory and credentials.

  • Method Details

    • group

public static ManagedExecutionBackend group(String partition, String scope, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionEndpoint endpoint)
Borrows one fixed physical group; new sessions read its current committed ownership epoch. Frozen old sources reject new claims; existing sessions retain their original epoch forever.
      Parameters:
      partition - stable partition identity
      scope - authenticated execution scope
endpoint - fixed physical group's authorized endpoint, never a silently retargeting facade
      Returns:
source without starting workers or acquiring authority
    • partition

public static ManagedExecutionBackend partition(String partition, String scope, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionAdminClient topology, Map<String, org.j7m.middleware.distributed.PartitionEndpoint> groups)
Resolves authoritative topology only for a new claim or dynamic discovery operation.
      Parameters:
      partition - stable partition identity
      scope - authenticated execution scope
topology - borrowed authoritative topology client
groups - finite fixed physical endpoints keyed by their actual group identity
      Returns:
bounded source with captured immutable endpoint inventory
    • open

public ManagedExecutionBackend.Session open(Instant deadline) throws IOException
Opens fresh ownership before a new claim; does not itself acquire a job or saga lease.
      Parameters:
      deadline - original route/verification deadline
      Returns:
session pinned to this exact physical group and ownership epoch
      Throws:
IOException - if no current authoritative source is available
    • client

      public org.j7m.middleware.distributed.ExecutionClient client()
Returns a dynamic scope client for submission, listing and explicit administration only. Live claim checkpoint/renew/complete/effects must use Session.client() instead.
      Returns:
      borrowed discovery/submission client
    • discovery

      public org.j7m.middleware.distributed.ExecutionEvents discovery()
Returns lazy paged discovery over the dynamic authoritative source, never claim authority.
      Returns:
      execution event/listing facade
    • toString

      public String toString()
Omits scope, endpoint inventory and credentials.
      Overrides:
      toString in class Object
      Returns:
      safe fixed diagnostic
